How does the BlueHaven Guardian work?

The Guardian is designed to give you a simple option when you feel threatened or need to attract attention. Keep it within reach, pull the pin to activate the alarm, and use the built-in light features when needed.

How do I activate the alarm?

Simply pull the safety pin to activate the alarm. To stop it, reinsert the pin. There is no app, Bluetooth connection or complicated setup required.

Where can I carry it?

Keep it somewhere you can reach quickly — attached to your keys, handbag, backpack or another accessible place. The idea is to have it available rather than buried at the bottom of your bag.

Do I need to replace the batteries?

No. The BlueHaven Guardian is rechargeable via USB, so you can recharge it instead of continually buying replacement batteries.

Can I carry BlueHaven every day?

Absolutely. BlueHaven is designed to fit naturally into your everyday routine — whether you're heading to work, travelling, going out with friends, shopping, or simply keeping it with you as you go about your day.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days, with delivery usually taking around 3–7 business days depending on your location in South Africa. You'll receive tracking information once your order is on its way.

Nicole V. | Cape Town

I originally bought one for my daughter because she often gets home late from university. What I like most is that it isn't another bulky safety device she has to remember to carry. She keeps it attached to her keys, and the flashlight is an added bonus when she's walking to her car at night.”

Lerato K. | Pretoria

I've always been the type to keep my keys between my fingers when walking to my car at night. The BlueHaven gives me something specifically designed for an emergency instead. The pull-pin is simple to understand and I can keep it attached to my bag where I can reach it immediately.”

Megan S. | Durban

I travel quite a bit for work and sometimes arrive back at hotels or parking areas late at night. I wanted something small enough to take everywhere without feeling like I'm carrying another piece of equipment. This is compact, easy to carry and gives me much more confidence when I'm alone.”

Zinhle P. | Johannesburg

What sold me was that it isn't just an alarm. Having the flashlight and strobe built into the same device makes it much more practical for everyday use. I keep mine on my handbag now, especially when I know I'll be getting home after dark.”

Carla R. | Port Elizabeth

“I bought two — one for myself and one for my teenage daughter. The biggest thing for me was knowing she has something she can access quickly if she ever feels uncomfortable or unsafe. It's small enough that she actually carries it with her, which was important to me.”

I was looking for something I could actually carry around with me, not something that would just sit in a drawer. So far I’m really happy with it.

Why BlueHaven Works When It Matters

BlueHaven Guardian™ is built around one simple idea: when you feel unsafe, you shouldn't have to fumble around looking for protection.

Keep it attached to your handbag, keys or backpack so it's within reach. Pull the pin to activate the 130 dB alarm, use the flashlight to see in dark areas, or activate the strobe for an additional visual signal.

Three useful safety features. One device you can actually carry with you every day.

130 dB alarm for emergency situations.
Flashlight for dark parking areas and walkways.
Strobe light for an additional visual signal.

I actually bought mine after getting locked out of my house one evening. I was standing outside in the dark trying to find my keys and realised how exposed I felt with nobody around. The flashlight alone would have been useful that night, but having the alarm and strobe built into the same device made me realise this is something I should have had with me all along.”
